Windham Title Company provides title abstracting services, including full searches and owner searches, with reports on title, for residential and commercial properties primarily in Southern Vermont. We also provide asset and lien searches in the land records in the context of estate planning, probate, family law, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and collections matters. Title is reviewed by an attorney.
The predecessor company to Windham Title Company, LLC was Windham Title, which was founded in 1984 by Rebecca Day. She operated it along with her brother, Timothy Berg, until her retirement in 2016. Windham Title Company, LLC has back title research and abstracts dating back more than 40 years, which we make available to other title searchers for a reasonable fee.
We are agents for Commonwealth Title Insurance and provide title insurance policies for residential and commercial properties.
